The Region of Western Greece in the framework of the cross-border cooperation project P.A.T.H.: “Promoting Area Attractiveness through Hiking and Introducing a Different Touristic Approach” is organizing targeted webinars, aiming at the training of public servants from the Regional Units of Western Greece in the use and operation of the multimedia web-platform for the promotion of thematic routes and points of interest of the region.

The webinars are a continuation of the project activities and aim at the presentation and training of participants in the basic features and functions of the integrated multimedia online platform, which is developed in the framework of the project and includes a total of 34 thematic routes and 1500 tourist attractions in the Region of Western Greece. The main goal of the project is to make the platform a sustainable tourism tool for the Municipalities of Western Greece and contribute to the enhancement of their tourist promotion.

Ideas and proposals for connecting the platform with the official websites of the Municipalities, or other websites will be presented in order to achieve the maximum visibility of the results of the project and their areas of responsibility. Finally, the training will be completed with the presentation of tourism marketing techniques.

The three training seminars will be organized online with the use of the Cisco Webex platform:
