The 4rth Project Meeting of the cross-border cooperation project P.A.T.H, “Promoting Area Attractiveness through hiking and introducing a different touristic approach, was held on 10 and 11 December in Ruvo di Bari by the National Park of Alta Murgia.

P.A.T.H project, financed for 863.947,63€ under Priority Axis 2 – Integrated Environmental Management of the Interreg V-A Greece-Italy Programme, aims at the development of a methodological framework for the management of differentiated Touristic Routes of the cross-border area with the valorisation of advanced technology and practices that contribute in tourism sustainability.

The 4rth project meeting was aiming at the co-ordination of the activities carried out by the partners and the organization of the next steps. In the framework of the project partners have been working on the identification and mapping of thematic touristic routes in both Greece and Italy. Italian partners have identified 17 routes and Greek partners 34 routes, including routes for people with special needs that will be included in the multimedia web-platform allowing users to plan their visit and explore more than 1.500 points of interest in both Greece and Italy.
