The Regional Union of Municipalities of Western Greece organized from June to October 2020 the community building events in the Regional Units of Achaia and Elis. The Community Building Events took place in the following Municipalities:
- Municipality of Andravida (Wednesday 24 June 2020)
- Municipality of Ancient Olympia (Thursday 25 June 2020)
- Municipality of Aigialia (Monday 29 June 2020)
- Municipality of Ilida (Monday 6 July 2020)
- Municipality of Kalavryta (Thursday 9 July 2020)
- Municipality of Pyrgos (Friday 24th July 2020)
- Municipality of Kato Achaia (Wednesday 16 September 2020)
- Municipality of Patras (Monday 19th October 2020)
The events were attended by representatives of local and regional authorities, environmental organizations and local associations operating in the respective municipalities. During each community building events the Regional Union of Municipalities of Western Greece presented the selected points of interest and the routes involving the respective Municipalities of Achaia and Elis. Participants expressed their satisfaction for the efforts to create an integrated digital tool that will promote the cultural and natural assets of each Regional Unit of Western Greece.
