P.A.T.H. project focuses on the relationship between visitors and tourist sites. It fosters the improvement of the visit experience while exploring local natural and cultural heritage, providing a variety of information that can allow end users to adjust their trip and visit according to their preferences and needs. With this in mind P.A.T.H aims at creating 47 thematic routes (30 in Greece and 17 in Italy) that can cover every visitors taste, hiking routes, cultural routes, mountain trails, etc. The routes will be enriched with information on points of interest for visitors, access options, levels of difficulty, proposed seasons for visits and multimedia contents. The student contests to be organized and the community events will support the enhancement of the points of interest and routes, while the creation of a crowd funding platform will contribute in the preservation of cultural and natural heritage.
